What kind of snake is this?

A Horned Reticulated Chub Snake.
The Horned Reticulated Chub Snake is endemic to Central America where is survives its predators by means of its resemblance to a noxious type of slug. Its diet consists mostly of the slugs it itself resembles, leading to its old species name, the “Cannibal Slug Snake.”
An interesting fact about the Horned Reticulated Chub Snake is that while most reptiles are extremely lean, the Chub Snake earns its name by having the highest fat content of any serpent, and arguably any reptile (As the fat content of the Northern Suriname Lard Tortoise has yet to be dissected). Because of its high fat content the animal is hunted and valued by local tribes who call it the Nuguameh Lotoros, which roughly translates as “The Slithering Butter Treat.”
Sadly, the Slithering Butter Treat is over-hunted and going slowly extinct. The tribal hunts are not a factor, but chocolate manufacturers in the region have turned to harvesting the animal en masse to supplement their creamy chocolate wares. Harvesters include CremCo, a supplier for Hershey and Reeses, the top and almost exclusive manufacturers in the U.S.
So next time you bite into a chocolate bar, remember what you’re really eating: The guts of a Horned Reticulated Chub Snake.

You’re the one who called the house. I think you called the house as a serial killer - just like my dad.
